Yellow

Tracking cleanup completed, indexing errors fixed. The local content cluster is delayed due to a pending client approval (topic prioritisation). First rankings not yet measurable – too early in the process.

Organic clicks (GSC)4258+38 % Green
Demo detail: increase mainly via 3 new long-tail rankings ("SEO freelancer Blomberg", "tracking consulting SME"). Mobile +45 %, desktop +22 %. Seasonal Q1 effect not excluded – observation continues in March.
Contact form conversion rate1.8 %1.6 %−0.2 % Yellow
Demo detail: decrease within natural fluctuation range (±0.3 %). No action needed, observation until next month.
Top-20 rankings (long-tail)00±0 Red
Demo detail: after 4 weeks, no movement as expected – first ranking signals realistically from month 3–6. Red here means "stay patient", not "went wrong".
LCP (avg. mobile)1.8 s1.4 s−0.4 s Green
Demo detail: improvement directly after tracking cleanup (fewer external scripts) – causality is clearly provable here.

What happened this month

04 / Impact

What it achieved

Organic clicks (+38 %): increase simultaneous with the indexing fix. Causally proven it is not – it could also be seasonal fluctuation. We keep observing.

Conversion rate (−0.2 %): slight decrease, but within natural fluctuation range. No action needed.

Rankings (±0): as expected – after 4 weeks no ranking movement is measurable yet. SEO needs 3–6 months for first signals.

LCP improvement (−0.4 s): directly measurable after tracking cleanup (fewer external scripts). Causality clear here.

05 / Next month

Top 3 focus actions

  1. Start local content cluster: produce and publish 3 articles (after client approval). Expected effect: first long-tail rankings in 6–8 weeks.
  2. Individualise meta descriptions: give 3 blog URLs unique descriptions. Expected effect: higher CTR in search results.
  3. Optimise internal linking: set 4 contextual links from blog → services. Expected effect: better crawl depth.

07 / Learnings

Course corrections

What works: tracking cleanup as the first step was right – clean measurement base before any optimisation.

What does not work: the local content cluster is delayed due to pending approval. Lesson: request topic prioritisation earlier, not after audit completion.

What we adjust: next month, ask for approvals earlier in the process, not only after the deliverable.
